Chess Classes are normally held once a week for one hour at a time. Classes will consist of 25 minutes of chess
instruction and 25 minutes of simulated tournament games.
Every class begins with daily announcements and the collection of homework. Class ends with a new sheet or
packet of homework and a new point sheet. Point sheets are used to track and help the students see their
achievements in chess class.
All students must be picked up by a parent or guardian at the end of class. We will never leave a child
unattended or in an office. We will wait until you arrive to dismiss your child. We do have a special place on
our registration form that will allow you check your personal dismissal option. For students that walk
home a note from a parent will need to be submitted in order for us to dismiss your child.
